The Pro 5 is still a really good buy if what you want is effective IPL without turning hair removal into another app-driven project.

The numbers are strong, the treatment is fast, and Braun’s automatic skin-tone sensing takes care of one of the biggest things people worry about when using IPL at home.

Where it differs from the newer Pro 7 is mostly in the guidance around the treatment. Pro 7 tracks coverage in real time and builds a more personalized experience around your progress. Pro 5 keeps things simpler.
